I have had the pleasure of working with Ms. Johnson for five years. Throughout this time, I have seen first-hand her dedication. Her work ethic demonstrates her commitment to her patients and fellow employees. Nurse Johnson advocates for the veterans she encounters day to day, regardless if they are her assigned patient or not. She is a team player and is an example of an excellent leader and mentor to other staff. There are very few people I have met that encompass all of the ICARE (Integrity; Commitment; Advocacy; Respect; Excellence) principles and Nurse Johnson is one of those individuals. The professional standard of excellence that is embedded in her character is something that I find myself measuring to; the passion she exhibits every day is something that is not only visible but contagious.
