Shanon was nominated by a patient she had cared for, this is what the patient had to say: Even though I believe Shanon was the charge nurse while she cared for me, she always had the time to come in and answer ALL my questions. She found me at 2am sitting on the edge of my bed, not able to sleep, because I was depressed. She talked with me, really meeting my emotional needs. Then she tucked me in and followed up the next morning to see how I was doing.
