At Common Spirit, Shantae has had an enormous impact on clinician satisfaction due to her relentless advocacy of her client in all aspects of her engagement. On every project that she engaged in, she exercised the associate behaviors to drive positive client experience outcomes. She is constantly identifying opportunities for improvement in the delivery and quality of Cerner's products to her client but is also consistently making sure that Cerner and the client are measuring the value of the work they are doing together. Her work as a HIP has not only made a huge impact on her client, but she has also made positive improvements to the Cerner client community as a whole by providing a consistent feedback loop for the improvement of Cerner's products.
Shantae receives frequent recognition from her Cerner colleagues that call her impeccable reputation with her client and her ability to elevate the voices of clinical end users to make sure that they are heard and get what they need from Cerner's products. Shantae will never hesitate to call out something that is not right, even when it shines Cerner in a bad light. She does this from the perspective of wanting the best for the client/clinicians and for Cerner. As a result of her work, the products we deliver to our clients are safer and have the nursing voice better represented.

I cannot underscore enough the value she brings to the healthcare community that she works with, her project teams, and her colleagues in the Health Office Organization. I have had the opportunity to work with Shantae for three years in her role as Clinical Consultant and Healthcare Integration Partner. She works tirelessly to be an exemplar clinical informatics resource for her clients. She understands how to quickly build those essential relationships with clinical executives and bedside clinicians and jump into understanding and solving their workflow concerns and questions. She has received many Bravos and shout-outs from her Cerner colleagues and healthcare organizations. As a colleague, Shantae is always available to help me with client escalations and opportunities to bring value to the care team.
Over the last year, there have been multiple occasions where Shantae has leveraged her clinical critical thinking skills and technical knowledge to solve client issues. One specific example is her collaboration in understanding why IV insertion start and stop times were inaccurate, impacting patient care delivery and reporting for my aligned client. The CNIO and clinical informatics team were so incredibly appreciative of our diligence and dedication! Shantae is a stellar Cerner nurse and the clinical champion for Cerner and her clients! She is always willing to take on additional work to help out and looks for opportunities to utilize her knowledge and expertise. Most recently she has joined the clinical learning journeys team to review and improve the learning journeys for optimal end user experience. It is an honor and privilege to work with Shantae every day. Shantae is truly a DAISY Nurse.
