My time on 7 Central would not have been bearable if not for Shantelle. Not only is she kind, sweet, patient, and humble, but her fun personality made me laugh when she was my nurse. She was also very cognizant of something out of the ordinary with my care. For example, my right arm was swollen compared to my left arm. She immediately set up an ultrasound to verify it was not a blood clot after my surgery. Seeing how she was very efficient with care and did not ever make me feel afraid, everything was easily solved. I am grateful for her strength and determination, for her follow-up on this, and for many matters over my 80 days in the hospital. I never waited for pain medication because she knew I needed relief. If she was busy, she would find another nurse to help me out. Quite simply, she is one of the best nurses to work on 7 Central. Don't lose Shantelle - she is a gem among jewels! .
