I was really nervous to have the hysterectomy and had a lot of anxiety. But once I got settled into my room and had Shanti as my nurse, he exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. He did his job very well, but he also advised his student nurse, Matt, and made sure Matt knew how to do things correctly. He watched Matt and put his heart into helping Matt. The two worked really well together. I don't know how to explain it, but Shanti was amazing. I am an LVN and am working towards my RN. I hope I have a preceptor like Shanti. He exemplified what a good nurse should be like. He took the time and did things to the best. I wanted to stay another night because Shanti took such good care of me!
