Shaona Chen, RN

Shaona’s calm and organized demeanor coupled with her clinical expertise and dedication to the geriatric patients of the ACE Program has made her a leader on her unit. Shaona provides a steady hand through difficult clinical and operational challenges, working with unit staff, the Nurse Manager, and the staffing office. She can be observed role modeling ACE nursing interventions: mobilizing patients, assessing patients for their response to delirium interventions, supporting Patient Care Assistants in completing ADL interventions, and care planning with the ACE team. Shaona actively translates for those patients whose primary language is Cantonese and works to engage those patients and their families in their care.
