Sharanjit Bhandal, RN

Sharanjit is one of our senior Oncology Nurses. She is a very hard-working and knowledgeable person. She is also one of the Oncology Charge nurses and Preceptors. She has worked all her life in Oncology in different settings. She is very experienced. When in need, Sharanjit is always ready to help her coworker nurses and our new fellow doctors. She encourages and helps new nurses to find out answers for themselves while supporting their decisions.

Yesterday, during our Procedure clinic time, we had a medical emergency while taking care of one of my post Bone marrow procedure patients. The patient was bleeding a lot from the procedure site. Sharanjit and I were trying our best to stabilize our patient. When I was running around to gather supplies, Sharanjit stayed all the time with the patient and also supported the family.

Anytime we have issues or problem in the Clinic she goes the extra mile to help people and solve the issues. I appreciate the help and knowledge she shares with us. I wish her the best in her career and look forward to working with her always.
