I had a prostate biopsy procedure. I went home after and could not void urine except for blood. I was taken back to the ER and admitted. The ER staff, a caregiver, and Sharita accommodated me as best as possible, as I was in a lot of pain and discomfort. Once the ER doctor approved, a catheter was inserted, and relief finally came. I went to the 2nd floor with the catheter and was admitted for a day. I had several caretakers and nurses attending to my condition. The staff was very attentive to my needs and discomfort, and they also explained how the proceeding would take place. I stayed overnight, mainly under the care of Sharita. She was fabulous in helping me with several matters as well as communication. This helped me get on my way to eliminating and taking out the catheter and being able to void on my own. I sincerely appreciate all the help and patient support that made my stay as comfortable as possible. I am glad I chose Beachwood Medical Center for this health matter. From the bottom of my heart, I thank all the staff who were involved, especially Sharita!
