I want to thank you again so much for everything! I am very confident that our crossing paths was no coincidence. I am honestly at a loss for words to let you know how much of a difference you made for me and my family by just being you and caring so much! I saw you on the email we got from the Spartanburg Regional Foundation also, you are a true leader! I have been thinking to myself ...: "How do I pay forward all that you did for me, at a very vulnerable time when I was very uncertain about school, work, and caring for my husband, and how I was going to do that with my schedule change with nursing school?" What if every nurse in the organization was just like you? You came in to work the floor on your time off and were humble, helpful, involved, and did all you could to make a difference for my husband as a patient and me as an employee in the system whom you had never met before, even though it would have been very justified if you just acknowledged what I said and did nothing further, especially with how busy you were. You didn't stop working all day! You took true initiative to make a difference for us, and you did! You lit up the room with your beautiful smile and personality. You are beautiful inside and out and a true leader! Thank you for all you did for me, and I have no doubt that you would do the same for anyone you came in contact with. I hope one day to be able to make this same difference for people. I am hoping that your managers, and manager’s manager will see this, as I am not 100% sure completely of your position, and you will be recognized for all that you do to make a difference for others...patients, their families, and members of the healthcare team.
