Sharmela Peoples took care of my dad in the Emergency department one night. The first thing I noticed was her caring attitude in demonstrating her nursing care. It was clear that she knew what she was doing and was proficient at it. Sharmela was patient and was great at managing her patients. She was truly an advocate for my dad, always ensuring that he was provided choices and permitted to make choices for himself which for my dad was very important. She clearly cares about her patients and their families My dad was discharged from the Emergency Department and when we were on our way out, my dad had an accident and without being asked Sharmela cleaned my dad. Sharmela is a great nurse!
