Sharon was nominated by an 11year old boy's mother. Sharon had been caring for the boy for 2-1/2 months before he passed away from his burns. The young boys mother wrote in her nomination: "She was our ange. Sharon was always there for us. She told us the truth, no matter how difficult. She gave 100% and more to my son and our family. In my 36 years on this earth, I have never met a nicer, more caring person".
Sharon has worked on the Riley Burn Unit for 17 years since graduating from nursing school.
