Sharon possesses all of the qualities I have come to appreciate in a nurse. She is kind, caring, and you can just tell she cares about each patient individually, according to their specific needs. She does her job asking all the needed questions and makes me feel like I matter. Each time I have an appointment, she goes over all of the dos and don'ts carefully, and I can tell she is really observing me to make sure I have all the important facts.
I have had occasion to watch her interact with her fellowemployees and she is willingand happy to help; you can tell she is a teamplayer. On many occasions,I have questions. Sharon never hesitates to answerthem in a soft manner and in a way that I fully understand. This means a lot to me, as I have a lot going on with my cancer and chemotherapy treatment. Sometimes I feel frustrated and depressed. She has a very special way of making me feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
One day I asked her about her education, where she had done her training, and where she had workedin the past. She did not hesitate to share her information. She ended with the statement that she was nearing the end of her career, well I sure hope she doesn't anytime soon! She is an extraordinary nurse! Banner Boswell is blessed to have her as an employee; she has the clinical skills and exemplifies the kind of nurse that can be a role model, with the combination of skillsand a caring heart!
