Sharon is truly an asset to our hospital and DeNicola Breast Care Center. Sharon has taken it upon herself to spearhead our breast cancer awareness month. She is volunteering her personal time to speak to our local community at several events and educate them on the importance of breast health and screenings. Along with her public presentations, she is a big part of our breast cancer bake sale benefit. She bakes a large portion of goods for donations and organizes other volunteers to contribute. Sharon is there at the sale to help and spread the word on the importance of breast health.

Sharon has a solid history in oncology nursing, which benefits DeNicola greatly. She has a vast knowledge to communicate effectively between our breast surgery, oncology, and radiology teams daily. The knowledge and expertise she brings help our hospital's entire breast team to expedite patients toward the quality care they need and deserve. When patients meet Sharon, it is usually a stressful time in a patient's life. She helps them by seamlessly guiding them through each step with compassion and support. We receive many compliments on the greeting cards she personally sends to our patients who need continued care. She is passionate about women's health, and this is evident in her interactions with her patients every day.
