Sharon is constantly putting the needs of others ahead of her own. Whether it is a patient, family, co-worker or the unit in general, she is always lending a helping hand. She always has a smile on her face no matter how stressful a shift may be. On a particularly chaotic day she approached the day with a refreshing combination of optimism, professionalism and team spirit. I hear other nurses and parents of our patients sing her praises for excellent care she provides as well as her cheerful and supportive attitude. She is a true asset to our unit, hospital and the nursing profession.
