Ms. Sharon has always been a true example of a Nursing Leader. Her dedication to the organization was always unquestionable, raising the bar to all her colleagues.
Dealing with such diverse division ranging from inpatient wards to a fast-paced Emergency Department, Ms. Sharon managed to touch many employees within the Department of Nursing with her kindness, yet maintaining the constant goal to improve the quality of patient care in the hospital.
Ms. Sharon's leadership was extended to numerous hospital-wide committees where her indubitable contribution earned the respect from the entire multidisciplinary team. As a nurse, she never loses the focus of what nurses work towards every day: high-quality patient care. Throughout her tenure in Security Forces Hospital, Ms. Sharon led several efforts not only to make patients' lives better but also contributed to staff recognition and satisfaction within the organization such as the implementation of The DAISY Award Program.
Everyone on the Department of Nursing staff has always respected the efforts and direction Ms. Sharon provided. She led by example, always supporting the empowerment of the staff and the profession of nursing in general. Ms. Sharon's leadership will always be visible in the numerous new leaders she helped to develop throughout her career.
