My father-in-law was admitted to the hospital and passed away just 5 days later. Sharon was our RN on several shifts.  The morning of his death she was not assigned to us but saw what we were dealing with and helped us at a very stressful time. I don't have a story about Sharon beyond the fact that she showed our family such care and compassion that she stood out from the rest of the staff. 
RN Sharon treated our father as if he was her own family the way she handled him.  She spoke to him and cared for his needs including cleaning his face, eyes and moistening his lips. These were all things easy to pass over but instead, she made our family know he was in loving, caring hands. Sharon was confident and professional but also extremely compassionate and caring.
