Sharon has been a constant and consistent healthcare provider at the Clayton Health Center for over 30 years. She greets you as an individual and engages you in your healthcare continuum. She is very thorough with her assessment and genuinely interested in your healthcare needs. She greets each encounter with a warm welcome and makes you feel like you are the only patient there. She provides education for your diagnosis treatment and post clinic care. Sharon is proficient with her competencies knowledge and skills. She has done my assessments, EKGs, Med reconciliation, and vital signs (just to mention a few tasks) in the past and today gave me my Shinglix shot with confidence and actually pain-free (I'm kind of a wimp). She laughs and cries with you in accordance with what you are faced with. She is empathetic and reassuring. She remembers personal events that you have discussed during other visits and follows up on not only your medical needs but also personal events and family which in turn creates such an individualized and caring perspective. She has an abundance of time management and juggles schedules to fit the needs of the day the patient and the provider. Sharon is a known constant in that office everyone depends on Sharon to be there and notices when she has a day off. She is also known throughout the community and is highly respected. Sharon defines professionalism in her appearance and demeanor. I have had many interactions with Sharon as my husband, parents, children and most of my other family members seek medical care at the Samaritan Clayton Family Health Center and I have accompanied them and interacted with Sharon as a patient, partner, and her as an educator, care provider, and advocate.
