I had a patient who was constipated. Sharen George was super kind and very gentle with the confused lady. Sharon checked the patient's bottom. I told her that if she saw stool, she should not be alarmed because the patient was constipated. Without hesitation, Sharon asked if she could disimpact the patient. I told her she didn't have to and that I would try again. Sharon insisted, disimpacted the patient, and removed so much hard stool. She went over and above for a patient that was not her own. She stayed and turned and cleaned the patient. Thank you, Sharon, for taking the time to help this patient. Now, the patient's abdomen is soft and has regular and better BMs.
