Sharon was nominated by a patient who described Sharon as a nurse who made sure that the patient came before any of her other duties, advocated for her, and acted as a liason with doctors. She employed all of her resources and knew what she was doing. She explained what was happening with the utmost respect for the patient as a person. She is a nurse who cares.
