The connection we made was both professional and personal.
IN my three visits over the last 2 weeks Sharon took the time to explain what she was doing while at the same time exhibiting sincere concern for my wellbeing and comfort. The connection we made was both professional and personal. Sharon's sincere concern was felt over and over by certain actions other nurses did not exhibit. Such As: *Explaining medications what they were for and possible side effects. *Making me feel like I was the only patient she had when I know she was very busy *Explaining rules and amenities that made my stay more comforting and trusting of the entire hospital. *Going the extra mile to help me move, find things, such as wipes, juice, warm blankets, etc. I personally feel she is an asset to this hospital and could help other nurses through her example and/or training.
