I had the kindest and most soft-spoken RN when I was having breast surgery and I was a nervous wreck. Her name is Sharon and she took care of me before I had surgery as well as after. After I was prepped I had to go to Women's Imaging to have a wire put in to show the doctor where to operate on my breast and I knew that was going to be painful because I've had that done before. Sharon came to take me to have that done. Right before we got to the door, she stopped and told me she wanted to say a prayer for me, and when she started praying I put my hand up and she took my hand and held it and a feeling of peace and warmth came over me. After surgery, she came back to talk to me and I thanked her and told her I would never forget her. I think of her often, of how she's so caring and kind. I have to go back for a checkup in December and I pray I won't need surgery again but if I do I hope that Sharon is my RN. Just her presence has a calming effect; you feel like everything's going to be okay. She's like an Angel.
