Sharon Walters 2024, MSN, RN

Sharon Walters has devoted her life to teaching future nurses. She is dedicated to the profession of nursing. She instills in her students the desire to be the best nurse they can be. She imparts her knowledge, compassion, and ethics to the students. She is the epitome of what a nurse should be. She is kind, considerate, and empathetic to the patients and their needs. Ms. Walters not only worked full-time as an educator, but she also practiced part-time as a nurse in a rural hospital. During this time, she earned the respect of her colleagues and the community as a knowledgeable and competent nurse. I really cannot think of anyone more deserving of this award than Sharon Walters. She has always set a high standard for herself and her students. Mrs. Walters is what all nursing students and nurses should aspire to be.
