This nurse is very special to me because she was very explanatory and kind. She took her time with me and even stayed after she had already clocked out and was leaving for the day. She came into my room and told me good night and even stayed and answered several questions I had even though shift change had already happened. All around, she was so sweet and definitely made me feel like I was a priority patient and not just another person she had to be taking care of. On top of that, she was very quick to answer my nurse calls, and if she couldn't get to it, she would come in after I got what I needed just to double-check that I was good and didn't need anything else. She is most definitely very deserving of the DAISY Award. She is an outstanding nurse and a great example of how to treat patients!
