Shauna J Conn, BSN, RN

Shauna is the lactation consultant at our hospital, so I saw her the day after delivering my daughter. We went over breastfeeding, and it was very helpful. Jumping forward a month or so after having my daughter, we started having weight-gaining issues. We had to see Shauna frequently. She noticed my daughter spitting up quite a bit after one of our consults, so she personally reached out to our pediatrician and advocated for us. She explained what she was seeing at our consults. Since then, we've gotten my daughter put on medication to help with reflux, and have continued to see Shauna and have gotten more confident in breastfeeding. My daughter is now gaining weight, and I truly think Shauna is a huge part of that. She not only helped me with breastfeeding, but also went the extra mile in helping my daughter!
