I recently had the occasion to accompany my daughter to Phoebe Putney; my daughter sought treatment of a health issue which caused her severe pain and discomfort. I am a lifelong resident of Dougherty and Lee counties and have had many encounters at Phoebe. However, during this particular visit we had the extreme pleasure of meeting an emergency room nurse by the name of Shauna Reynolds.
Shauna was extremely pleasant and pleasurable, went out of her way to put my rather freighted daughter at ease, kept check on her during our entire visit, explained each nursing step to my daughter as they were being performed, and had one of the warmest smiles and sweetest dispositions both my daughter and I have ever experienced in the medical profession.
In addition to providing my daughter with excellent care, Shauna, while tending to her, talked about her career choices and recommended that she think about becoming a nurse. She was very informative and I could tell she captured my daughter's attention. After we left, my daughter continued to show excitement for the possibilities suggested to her by Shauna.
We were delighted with Shauna's care; she turned a very stressful experience into an enjoyable one under the circumstances.
