Shaundra is caring, empathetic and compassionate. She always listens and cares for her patients with her heart. She recently cared for a patient who had to be monitored for 14 days. The patient was awake and alert. As the days went by, the patient seemed melancholy due to staying in the hospital for an extended period of time. Shaundra asked the doctor for an order to take the patient to the cafeteria to raise her spirits. At lunchtime, Shaundra wheeled the patient to the cafeteria, and they both ordered lunch at the grill, which Shaundra paid for. She then wheeled the patient outside on the patio where they chatted and ate lunch.
Later that afternoon, the patient was in much better spirits. The patient stated that she enjoyed her lunch outside very much, but most of all enjoyed the company.
Shaundra delivers compassionate care every day and goes out of her way to make her patients feel special. She always remains humble.
