Shauntina Terry Shelton, RN

Over the last month, Shaun has come in for lab to help with morning runs several times and began drawing her lab work in the PAT. Today, she voluntarily came to Lab after she finished her day in PAT and asked if there was anything she could do to help us. We welcomed the help and she went to the floor to help us get caught up. I thanked her and told her I wanted to clone her. I wanted you as leaders to be aware of her constant teamwork and to let you know how grateful we are for her.

This email was forwarded to me and I agree and stated she truly goes above and beyond. As I think over the years of multiple “above and beyond” things one particular situation I have never forgotten, she was the PAT nurse for a cancer patient whose home burned down, leaving him with the clothes on his back. She made sure he received clothes, shoes, and other necessities.
