Shavonne is such a compassionate and caring nurse. She gets down to the eye level of the patient to meet them where they are at in their care. She takes the extra time to listen and validate their concerns all while providing exceptional care. On the unit, she is a true leader. Her leadership in UPC and Magnet Steering Committee have been impactful to the floor in so many ways with all the knowledge and initiative she brings. Shavonne's drive to stay active in current research allows her to bring the best and most recent practices to the bedside and to her coworkers. She is such a valuable resource to the unit and to her patients.
