My son was a patient on 3B and he is on the spectrum and can fixate on things, or become anxious if they are not explained to him properly. I want to say thank you to Shawn for taking her time with him and going over all his medications every time she gave them. Not only did she make sure to explain everything very direct but also she pulled conversation out of my son and they connected on a level that made him comfortable and made me comfortable enough to leave for a few hours to grab lunch or shower. If you do not have a child on the spectrum, you will never understand the joy, when you see your child connect with another person. Even if he is grown now.
