We would like to recognize Shawn for all his hard work at the Advocare Pediatric Urgent Care in affiliation with Nemours. When Shawn joined us he quickly jumped in and took over a leadership role in running the laboratory. He has been crucial to helping us create clear communication with our families on the policies of the facility. He excels clinically and makes our patients and families feel comfortable right away. During the pandemic, Shawn helped to rapidly change policies to better serve our community. He was crucial in helping to create our COVID-19 swabbing line. He put his own life at risk before we knew much about this pandemic to help patients. Thank you Shawn for all you have done for the Urgent Care.
