Shawna Collicott, RN

Words cannot describe the extraordinary compassion and customer care that Shawna provided. She stands out above the rest in the very personal attention that she provided during a very emotional and challenging situation. My dad has dementia and was very overwhelmed and scared. Due to COVID restrictions, I was unable to be there with him. I wanted to give emotional support but also had concerns. She not only suggested facetime with dad before, but the nurse set it up and brought me into the conversation virtually when the doctor came into the room.

Thanks to Shawna I was able to get my questions answered and say a prayer with my dad. Then she would continue to keep me updated and gave me peace of mind. Unbelievably even after the day, she checked in with me again because she knew how much emotion I had. I cannot begin to describe the difference that Shawna made during a very stressful time. She is clearly an unbelievable asset to your hospital who goes above and beyond the call of duty. The compassion, care, and passion for what she does are unsurpassable.
