I want to recognize Shawntavia for the exceptional care and compassion she showed me. When she responded to my call light, she immediately remembered me and asked, with genuine concern, why I was still here. She didn’t just check in—she took the time to sit beside me, listen, and even rub my back.

She didn’t have to do that, but she did, and in that moment, I felt truly cared for. It wasn’t just about completing a task; it was about making a human connection. Her kindness and empathy made my day, and I believe we need more caregivers like her—those who see beyond the task and focus on the person.
