Shay Dickerson, BSN, RN

Shay is a full-time nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Shay is a mentor, hard worker, and patient advocate. She leads by example and action. She goes above and beyond for her patients and coworkers. She facilitates efficiency, promotes collaboration, instills peace and comfort within the department, and is the definition of reliable. Patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit are coming out of sedation and are not fully aware of the compassionate care, comfort and attention to their needs that Shay delivers. For so many reasons Shay is a DAISY Nurse.
