Shay was so caring and wonderful when my father was in the hospital and ended up passing. Then we returned to be with my mother-in-law and we were placed in the room where my father died 4 months prior. When Shay found out that that was the room my father passed in she made sure, when we were down in the surgery unit that we were moved to another room. True compassion and perfect example of a fantastic nurse. I wish more people were like Shay. Just because we are not patients - she still cares enough to think of the families, too. Valley View is so lucky to have her.
