My mom is currently in Medical ICU and is very critical. The night Shayla was my mom's nurse, I came in very upset at my mom's declining condition. Shayla stopped everything she was doing to comfort me. She explained everything in detail so I could understand what was going on. Shayla always kept a positive attitude and smile on her face no matter how busy she was. She has two things that make her an awesome nurse, compassion and empathy, among other qualities. Shayla truly cares about her patients and families. She is the definition of what a nurse should be. Thank you, Shayla, for everything.
