I went into my appointment today already disappointed, knowing I wouldn’t have the prior authorization completed in time to receive my injection. I spoke with Shaylene about the situation and explained that I had talked with my insurance company earlier this morning, and they said it might be approved if I used a different medication. Shaylene immediately stepped in to help. She spoke with my insurance company herself and was transferred several times until she finally reached a representative and handled the entire process on my behalf. Thanks to her persistence and dedication, she got my injection approved. She truly went above and beyond to help me get the treatment I needed to be out of pain. I’m sure she had a full waiting room and many other responsibilities, yet she took the extra time to make sure everything was handled and completed properly. I cannot thank her enough for her compassion, patience, and commitment to helping me.
