Shayna always provides kind, considerate, compassionate care for her patients. She noted one evening that her patient was tearfully frustrated and exhausted from three very busy days and virtually no rest. Shayna supported this patient allowing him time to vent, then coordinated his meds and other tasks to allow the patient to have real, significant periods of rest. When I followed her the next shift, the patient had nothing but praise for her kindness and efforts. He said, "Shayna is awesome for finding time for me to sleep!"
