Shayna Morgan, RN

In August we delivered our little boy into this world. Upon entering the hospital, we were welcomed by such a great nursing staff, every one of whom deserves special recognition. My wife’s labor took approximately 30 hours from the time we entered the hospital. Shayna stayed with my wife as her labor intensified, not only accomplishing her normal nursing duties, but also comforting her, holding her hand, and assisting her in every way possible through her painful contractions. Shayna stayed in our room almost completely uninterrupted for the majority of the night, easing my wife’s pain in whatever way possible. After being with her for the entirety of her shift, her relief came just as our little boy arrived. Instead of going home for much-needed sleep, Shayna stayed with us for an extra hour past her shift to help and aid in every way possible. Shayna’s kindness, compassion, and diligence to her patients deserve the utmost recognition and honor.
