Shealynn Miller, RN

I had Shea as a nurse during my last day of nursing school clinicals. She was by far the best nurse I had been paired with throughout my education. She took the time to answer questions and guide me along as most nurses do. However, she took the education much further than she needed to. She explained what was happening to the patient, what the intended goals of treatment were, the medications and side effects associated with them, as well as all of the lines and drains and the reasoning behind them. She took time out of her day to carefully explain and educate about every detail the patients had. She also would ask me questions and then would help me work through the critical thinking process from start to finish. Shea's dedication to learning and fostering an educational environment should be commended. Shea truly was a blessing to be with and I will never forget the day I was able to spend with her and the knowledge she bestowed upon me.
