My nurse was right there when I came into the room from the ER. She was efficient and professional. She had a student nurse following her. She included him in her intake, she gave him directions and guidance. She made sure I was comfortable before she left the room.
I had her again the next day. She let me know my schedule for tests I was having, made sure I got my meals and any medication I was scheduled for. She is a very good RN. But what impressed me most was her kindness. She was never too busy to check on me. I felt that she cared about me as a person as well as my health. This kindness extended to the student that was with her also. I’m sure all your nurses could qualify as extraordinary. The job they do is huge. My daughter is a nurse, so I know what they have to endure sometimes. I really felt my nurse was extraordinary, going the extra mile for me, putting me at ease, and helping me to have an enjoyable stay.
