Sheena Benito, RN

Sheena goes above and beyond to provide safe patient care. She stays calm in challenging situations and always focuses on doing what is best for the patient. She does not blame others; instead, she takes responsibility and works to solve problems. She also speaks up about safety concerns that need attention, helping protect both patients and the team. One example that stands out happened when we were working on the floor together. A patient needed to go to the ER but refused an ambulance transfer and had no ride. Sheena took the extra step to help the patient by getting money so the patient could arrange an Uber ride to the hospital. Because of her actions, the patient was still able to receive the care they needed. Sheena truly shows compassion, accountability, and dedication in patient care. Her kindness and commitment make a real difference for patients and the healthcare team.
