Sheena Simon, RN

Sheena has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to communicate and collaborate with different providers and pharmacies to ensure that over 50 patients can continue Directly Observed Therapy without interruptions. As chairperson of our process improvement committee, she led a project to collect emergency phone numbers for patients experiencing substance use disorder and homelessness. Now 96% of our patients have emergency contact numbers listed in their medical records. This important work will allow us the ability to communicate with patients for updates on their status, clinic relocations and closures, disasters, etc.
