Sheetal has taken on the critical role of managing the needs of not only my patients, but she is also supporting countless other providers. She has developed an impressive and detailed spreadsheet to track all medical needs. This ensures that they are fully briefed on the necessary lab work required before treatment. Also, ensuring that if she is out of the clinic, others will know what is needed for the patient in her absence. In addition, Sheetal oversees the prior authorizations for other medications, working with the PA Team to ensure that medications are approved by insurance or sending notices to providers in a timely manner to either do Peer to Peer or change medication as needed. Obviously, what she has been doing is essential for maintaining high-quality patient care. She proactively communicates with various infusion centers to confirm their adherence to patients’ insurance plans and beyond. Her efforts have been instrumental in guaranteeing that all our patients receive outstanding care. Sheetal keeps in regular contact with patients and their families, updating them on what to expect and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Our patients consistently express gratitude and appreciation for having Sheetal advocate for their needs. Sheetal took on a new process and has headed up the education and training for the nurses and support staff for offering a new medication. While she does not do this without the support of the other nurses, she was the one who took the initiative and helped to make this happen for our clinic. Sheetal is an amazing nurse, and we are so fortunate to have her on our team.
