Last year I was admitted to Caldwell Memorial Hospital with a serious cardiac issue. I spent several days there and several in ICU.
Caldwell Memorial is not the hospital it was when I spend several days there in 1972 from a football injury while playing for Lenoir High School. It was good then. It is great now. There is much the staff should be proud of.
Sheila went out of her way to ensure I got great care and was quick to help me work through the concerns I had regarding my situation. She worked with patient relations to help me with additional needed appointments associated with my condition outside of the hospital. This was especially helpful since I was only here visiting. This is an intangible that many people don't understand until they are patients. Sheila is a true DAISY Nurse.
