I was greeted in a warm and kind manner as Sheila introduced herself to me as the nurse who would be providing my care, along with the nurse practitioner.

Every step of the way, Sheila, in a calm and comforting manner, explained what the care would be like and described each procedure that was performed. She was extremely sensitive and patient in our discussion about my wound, listening carefully and respectfully to all of my questions and answers. She gave me no excuse for alarm but rather provided all pertinent care in a very professional, efficient, and gentle manner. She worked very well with the NP, giving one the idea that she was a strong team member in this setting. Her explanation of my role in caring for my wound while awaiting my next visit was very clear and concise. All necessary products were identified, methods were clearly explained, and I left feeling very confident and assured of receiving the best care.
