Kudos to Sheila Heydt, Pre-Admission Testing Nurse. I, unfortunately, need to have a minor procedure and thought about delaying it due to COVID-19 but I fear all of the precautions in place will be around for quite some time so I am moving forward. Today I had the pleasure to meet Sheila as she did my pre-admission testing. Talk about comforting, knowledgeable, friendly, and example of what you would find next to the term "excellent bedside manner". Sheila exceeded expectations of patient care, thoroughly explaining everything she was doing, why she was asking each question/how it related to my procedure and just an excellent representative of Pottstown Hospital.
