Over the past 18 weeks, I have observed Sheila while a patient in the Infusion Room. She has an amazing spirit and greets everyone with a smile. What is different about her though, is that there is a depth of warmth and understanding beneath that smile. She is able to connect with the patient immediately and make them feel safe and cared for. I have also observed her serving as a true team player and role model. She regularly jumps to help other nurses and seems to always be moving from patient to patient.
