During my first night after surgery, Sheila came in and introduced herself and from then on began providing exceptional quality care and compassionate patient care to me. If I rang my bell for assistance, she immediately came in followed by my nurse assistant. Teamwork and exceptional, enthusiastic, proactive, and thorough patient care were provided to me with a smile and kind conversation.
Sheila listened to my needs and quickly followed through to ensure I was connected to the respiratory therapist, which helped to relieve some of my symptoms I was feeling. She encouraged me to walk, drink liquids, etc., which I know in the long will be better for my overall recovery. I saw the professional teamwork displayed while helping me in my recovery process.
I know she has several patients on this floor tonight, but she took her time to make me feel not rushed and listened and genuinely cared to provide remedies in a quick manner to assist me. Sheila cares! She is compassionate and a blessing to me.
