... My husband had a stroke and was in critical condition. There were other nurses, but Sheila was his nurse, the compassion she carries for both patients and family along with her skills and knowledge as a nurse was a godsend to me. She comforted me during my hardest moments and she gave me a shoulder to lean on and support I needed to copy during my worst days. She was there for me and my husband. The care my husband received from her was compassionate, she put 100% to make him sure all his needs were kept up so he was comfortable. She made me feel at ease when I had to go home and leave him because I knew she took her job very professionally, truly cares for her patients. She also had a sense of humor that would make me smile. I so much appreciate her kindness and support. Of her nursing I can say many things, she deserves this award. SHE EARNED IT!
