I never wanted for a thing. Sheila checked on me often and I did not use the nurse button ever. A great explainer and a welcome presence to me in my time of sickness. She provided many, many insights into my process here making it clear and comforting to negotiate. She explained in knowledgeable terms all of my questions about my care, my meds, and the biology of my illness. She was supported by a similarly caring and bright team, but it is Sheila who worked with me most. Her interpersonal skills and compassion are truly amazing and this hospital has become my family hospital because of professionals like her. Cannot praise her enough. She is far beyond “doing my job” performance. I will come here again. Can we have Sheila as a nurse please?
